Refund Policy
Rib David offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on The Complete Rib Manual. If you're not satisfied within 30 days of purchase, email us at the address shown at the top of this page with the word REFUND, and we'll refund your purchase in full. You keep any bonus files.
We arrange the refund through Stripe, back to your original payment method (typically 5 business days). There is nothing to return; this is a digital product. Because your purchase is sold through Link (see Privacy below), you can also ask Link's support for help with a charge.
If you are in the EU/UK: by purchasing and downloading immediately you agree to begin delivery at once and acknowledge your statutory right of withdrawal for digital content may end once download begins, but our voluntary 30-day guarantee above still applies.
Lost your download link?
Open the "Lost your link?" form, type the email you paid with, and we will send your download link again. It can take a minute and may land in Promotions or Spam. If it does not arrive, email us at the address shown at the top of this page.
Rib David Recipe Club: membership and automatic renewal
$7 a month, or $59 a year. Your membership renews automatically at the same price until you cancel. Cancel any time online in one click at ribdavid.com/club (or in your Link account). You keep every month you have paid for. We email you before every yearly renewal.
Price and renewal: you pay $7 every month on the monthly plan, or $59 every year on the yearly plan. Each payment is taken on the same date you joined, at the same price, until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe through Link, and your receipts come from Link.
How to cancel: open ribdavid.com/club, sign in with the email you joined with, and tap Cancel. It is one click, and we email you to confirm it. You can also cancel in your Link account. Your membership then stays on until the end of the time you have paid for, and it is not renewed.
What you keep: every month you have paid for stays yours to download, also after you cancel. Past months you did not pay for can be read while you are a member.
Before a yearly renewal: if you are on the yearly plan, we email you before every yearly renewal with the date and the price, so you can cancel first if you want to. Link also emails you before it.
The record we keep: when you join, we store with your membership at Stripe the date and time you ticked the box, the version of these terms (club-terms-v1) and the plan you picked, as the record of what you agreed to. We keep it for at least 3 years.
Privacy Policy
We collect only what is needed to deliver the product you bought.
Purchases: checkout is run by Stripe. Your purchase is sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which is the seller of record: your receipt comes from Link, and your card statement shows LINK.COM* EVERYDAY DIG. Rib David makes the product, delivers your files and answers your questions. Stripe collects your name, email and payment details to take the payment and send your receipt. We never see or store your card details. See Stripe's own privacy policy.
Your email address: Stripe holds the address you use at checkout so it can send your receipt. We use it to email you your download link and for the emails described below, and for nothing else.
Help emails after you buy: we keep your address, this store and your order number so we can send three short help emails about the thing you bought, on day 1 (did it open, and how to get it on your computer), day 3 (the pages to read first) and day 10 (one question about how you are finding it, and a request for an honest review). They sell nothing, each carries a one-tap unsubscribe link, and if you are refunded they stop. If you answer the question, we keep only a scrambled, one-way version of your address, the store, your answer and the date, for about 13 months.
Who sends them: these emails are sent by MARIANO MEDIA INC., the business behind Rib David, 48 Dawson Crescent, Brampton, ON L6V 3M5, Canada, through Resend, our email service. The records are held in our database with Neon and Vercel.
New recipes and holiday packs, only if you tick the box on the thank-you page: we keep your address, the store, the time and the exact wording you agreed to, as proof of your consent. We use it to email you news of new recipes and holiday packs from Rib David. Every email has a one-tap unsubscribe link, and you can also email us. We act on it at once. The record that you agreed or asked us to stop is kept for 3 years.
Offers from Rib David after you buy: because you bought from Rib David, about two weeks after your purchase we may send you one email about an add-on for what you bought (never something you already own), and now and then an email about a new pack from Rib David. They come from Rib David and are only ever about Rib David's own products: we never use your address to email you about another store's books. At most two such emails in any 30 days, none after a refund, and each has a one-tap unsubscribe link. We act on it at once. They are sent by MARIANO MEDIA INC., 48 Dawson Crescent, Brampton, ON L6V 3M5, Canada, through Resend, our email service.
If you send the book as a gift: the recipient's first name and email address, and the message you wrote, are kept with your order record at Stripe. We use them only to email the gift (and a printable gift card) on the day you chose, through Resend, our email service. When that day is more than four weeks away, we also hold them in our own order database until the email is handed to Resend, then erase them there (and at once if the order is refunded). We do not add the recipient to any list or send them anything else.
Analytics: We count visits to this site with our own small script. It sets no cookies and uses no other company's trackers. For each page view we record the page, how far down you scrolled, how long it was open, how fast it loaded, which Buy button you tapped, your type of device and browser, the website or video link that sent you, and your rough location (country and state or province). We never store your IP address. If you buy, a random one-time code for your visit goes to Stripe with your order, so we can see which page led to the sale. We never do this for visitors in Europe, the UK or Quebec, or when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
